Lindenwood, Sioux Falls players visit local schools
Dec. 17 - ROME, Ga - Half of the players from Lindenwood University visited students at Pepperell Primary School this morning. Most greeted large groups of kids in the cafeteria, giving them advice and
answering questions. Terance Jackson, a wide receiver from Vidalia, Ga., told
students, "Work hard, stay determined, and everything will work out for you."

Match-up set for NAIA title game
Dec. 5 - ROME, Ga. - This year’s match-up won’t be a rematch.
Although Sioux Falls (S.D.) will be returning to Rome for the NAIA championship game for the second straight year, Carroll College (Mont.) won’t be.
Carroll lost to Lindenwood, 42-35, in snowy conditions on Saturday in the NAIA semifinals, while defending champion Sioux Falls advanced by routing St. Xavier 48-6. Read more>

Football Championship Series First Round Recap - Four Quarterfinal Games Set for Nov. 28
Nov. 21 - KANSAS CITY, Mo. - For the first time since 1997, all eight hosts won in the NAIA Football Championship Series (FCS) First Round. No. 1-ranked Sioux Falls (S.D.) was one of the hosts to come out on the winning end after a 63-21 win over Minot State (N.D.). Overall, the winning teams scored an average of 45.6 points while holding their opponents to just over 17 points. 2009 NAIA Football Championship Series Qualifiers Announced
Nov. 15 - KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the teams and pairings for the 2009 Football Championship Series. A total of 16 teams will play at eight first-round sites on Nov. 21. Defending national champion Sioux Falls (S.D.) will face Minot State (N.D.) in Sioux Falls, S.D.
